Family of 5

It's been a while since we've been a family of five. We had some issues with our new au pair match and decided to quit the program. Aline stopped working for us on June 21st but she had to live with us for two more weeks. She was unable to find a new family in her two week transition so she headed back home to Brazil on July 9th.

I am still home with the kids full time and enjoying it a lot. I have found great places in town that are safe for us to visit without having a helper. Safety comes first so certain activities we've had to put on hold unless we have special visitors to help out. While our first au pair experience was amazing, we're thrilled to be our tiny family of 5, especially after experiencing a not-so-great 2nd au pair.
