New Table

After months of searching and waiting for the right table, we finally found one. It works perfect and the kids LOVE to sit at it and drink juice, color or just talk. :) Here is a picture of them enjoying the new table:

Friday - Adventure Day

We started the morning with lots of playtime at a local park and then headed off to one of Mommy's favorite restaurants, Il Vicino. Here are some pictures:

22 months and growing...

The kids are getting so big these days. It's hard to believe they are 22 months already. They will always be my babies. :) Here are some fun new pictures of the kids in their special hats - crocheted by Brittany Smith Cole. She's so talented!

Rehearsal Cake - Happy Wedding!!

Our friends, Annie and Paul, are getting married tomorrow and they asked me to make them a special cake for their rehearsal tonight. Here are some pictures of their special cake:

Fudge chocolate cake with raspberry truffle filling and sweetened whipped cream frosting...don't forget the chocolate dipped strawberries and yummy brownies. :)

Simon or Squiggy???

When you're done eating your food and your Mommy isn't fast enough to take your tray away, you begin bath time in your seat. Today's shampoo is pinneapple juice, milk, blueberries and I'm sure some pieces of bean and meat. I think he looks an awful lot like Squiggy from Laverne and Shirley. :)

Grandma and Grandpa Watching the Kids

Grandma and Grandpa (Ben's parents) came to our house to help Lais watch the kids while Ben and I headed to Florida for our mini vacation. The kids had a blast!! Here are some pictures of their fun week with family:

Mommy and Daddy's Getaway

Ben and I took advantage of our expiring American Airlines and Marriott points and planned a trip to Fort Myers, FL to watch the Minnesota Twins play their last Spring Training game and celebrate Ben's 31st birthday. It was a wonderful, relaxing time. We had a blast! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa (Ben's parents) and Lais for watching the kids.

Our trip home was extremely stressful after encountering an emergency landing, etc. However, we are thankful and praise God we are back home safe with the kids. We missed them so much!!!!!!!!
