Thanks for Sharing, I think....

I asked Isla to share a bite of her muffin with me and she gave me a crumb. Simon handed me a larger piece. Here you can see the difference. I guess Isla doesn't like to share dessert. ;)

Bailey and Miles

As you know, we have a cat named Oliver. I can describe Oliver in a few words, "Grumpy Old Man". He doesn't like the kids, doesn't want to be near them, and likes to hiss whenever they get too close. The kids love him and wish they could share some quality time with him. NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN!

At Christmastime, the kids got some quality time with their furry cousins, my parents dog (Bailey) and cat (Miles). Ahhhhhh, so cute.

When You've Got to Go.....

We did it again - we drove to Iowa for Christmas. Man oh man!! It's such a looooong trip. We spent days planning ahead on packing so we would all fit in the Pilot without any troubles. We did!! What we didn't expect was the potty stops along the way. Since we had been working on potty training for about a month, we thought traveling would make them take a step back - especially on the road. We were wrong. Here are some pictures of Solomon going potty on the side of the road in the middle of NOWHERE!!! :) When you've got to go, you've got to go! For us....when one has to go - THEY ALL HAVE TO GO! :)

Lions, Tiger, and Bears - OH MY!!

I'm not talking The Wizard of Oz this time. I'm talking about a REAL bear hanging out down the street from our house. EEK!! Here he is in the tree. I think we'll be hanging out inside for a while.

Wedding Cake

Yep, I did it again. Lais had a friend getting married so we made her wedding cake as a wedding gift for them. Here is the final picture of the cake at the reception.

Mommy's Birthday

When your birthday is on Halloween and you have little children, the day becomes more about playgrounds, trick or treating, and dressing up. I didn't mind though. :) Here are some pics of us on my bday morning.

Happy Birthday to ME!

Happy Birthday to Me,
Happy Birthday to Me,
Happy Birthday Dear Me??
Happy Birthday to MEEEE!!!

I love to bake but there's something about baking your own birthday cake. Right? Seems strange. I decided to not have cake since we'd have enough trick or treating candy but Lais didn't agree. She ended up baking my favorite cake, Carrot Cake. It was Mmm, Mmm, GOOOOODDDD!!!

Thank you, LaLa!!

Lais' Mom is Visiting from Brazil!

Lais' Mom, Deborah, came to visit us all the way from Brazil! We were so happy to have her here. It was very special for Lais to be able to show Deborah bits of her life here in New Mexico. Here are some pictures of her time with us.

What is it like?

What is it like...

...to have two best friends always by your side?

...to have your friends answer your questions for you before you ask?

...to always have playmates throughout the day, evening and sometimes night?

...to receive sympathy cries when you're sad or some extra kisses from loved ones when you get an owie?

...to experience every milestone with your best pals?

...to have a special language only you and your best friends can understand?

...to always have a hand to hold, a friend to hug, a pal to kiss?

...to never know a moment of your life without your best pals by your side?

It's a life of sharing fun adventures, giggles, tears, facing and conquering the same fears, and celebrating life together. It's a life most of us will never know or understand - the life of triplets. Best friends from the moment they were conceived. Best friends forever.

These are my beautiful children. Together as best friends, they begin their own journey. Holding hands. Loving one another. Celebrating life. God is good.

Another Adventure Day - Filled with Ice Cream

We spent the morning at the park playing all over the place - the playground, the drinking fountains and the open fields of grass. We were pretty hungry but wanted a "treat" so Mommy took us to Baskin Robbins and we got to order our very own ice cream - any flavor we wanted!

Isla "I want pink ice cream." Flavor: Pink Bubble Gum

Solomon "I want bluuuueeee ice cream." Flavor: Superman

Simon "I want Grrrrrrreeeeen ice cream." Flavor: Superman

AND...they ate it all.

Butterfly "watching":

P.S. For all the Mom's out there, the Superman ice cream causes some nasty looking poopies. I imagine similar to those that have tried the multi-color goldfish crackers...something I've always avoided. :)

Mommy on her Weekend Getaway

We missed Mommy alot when she was gone! Fortunately, she sent us some pictures each day. Here are a few of her adventures in MN:

Wow! Proof Mommy went on the light rail all by herself (besides flying, public transportation is scary to her - this was a BIG accomplishment!)Notice the cup of Caribou Coffee...YUM:

COLD September Day

What do you do on a cold, September day when it's too cold to go outside? You find things to do inside of the house! Isla enjoyed time feeding her babies beans and The boys enjoyed pushing each other down the hall in the doll strollers. We even had a picnic lunch at the table.
