Goodbye Bottles!

It's official. We stopped giving the babies bottles last week! They actually stopped taking bottles during the day and at night when they turned 1 year old but they still liked getting their morning bottles. Eventually they started to fight those too so we gladly got rid of them. Now it's just sippy cups - so much easier. It's like getting a gift of time. :)

Here are some pictures of our "old" bottle station. Memories we will never forget.

We're famous!

Okay...not really. :) Our church made a video to promote an upcoming women's retreat. They asked me to participate in it with the kids. They wanted to show how busy life is for different people and how important it is to take time to get away, relax and spend time with God. So, I guess we're famous to only those in our church. Ha ha ha. Anyway, enjoy watching it...

Solomon is a walker too!

Solomon decided he wanted to be a full time walker after our vacation to WI. Here is a quick video of his amazing progress. A walker and a climber. Way to go Solomon!!

Wisconsin Trip - 1st Time at the Zoo

While the older kids (and adults) headed to Six Flags for the day Mommy, Nana, Claire and the triplets headed to the zoo. It was so much fun. This was the first zoo trip for the kids. They really enjoyed it - zoo juice, cotton candy and animals!! OH MY!

Day at the Beach

It might have been a cold day to visit Lake Michigan but we really wanted to get there so Laís could see it. We had a really fun day.

Two funny memories of mine from this beach trip:

1. We wanted some cotton candy and the only place selling it was a bar. We sure got some looks when we walked into the beach bar with three babies. ha ha ha.

2. I hurt my back earlier that day so I had a heating pad stuck to my back. While walking back from the beach I noticed it was suddenly a lot colder. I felt my back and the heating pad was gone! Oh no! Everyone started scanning the beach for the heating pad and it didn't take long before my Mom found it. Not on the ground, in the sand or in the water...it was stuck to the back of my pants. ha ha ha.

Oh, the memories we have from that day. :) Here are some photos of us on the beach:
