ROAAARRRR!

We have a new "pet" in the house. A lion. It's quite the entertainment for the kids. They love sitting on it and pressing it's nose for music. Here are some pictures of the newest, favorite toy in the house.

Surfs Up

I got a pool from Walmart yesterday. It wasn't that nice of a day but Laís and I were too excited to wait. Fortunately the sunroom was still warm so the babies didn't notice it wasn't sunny outside. I filled it with warm water (bath temperature) but by the time we got their swim diapers and swimming suits on the water was cool. They didn't care! Their little chins were chattering after 10 minutes but they were splashing like crazy. They were true beach babies!! They LOVED the water!! Here are some pictures of their first time in a pool. :)

Chocolate, Crackers, Marshmallows... OH MY!

Apparently American movies and TV shows have a lot of references to s'mores. We never realized this until Laís told us. The show "Friends" had several references to s'mores too. Anyway, this is one treat Laís wanted to try while living here. What an easy wish to fulfill! Ben started a bonfire in our backyard chiminea and we roasted some marshmallows and peeps (in honor of Easter) on a good old Friday night while the babies were in bed. Here are some pictures of our special night!

Shoes are a Girl's Best Friend

Isla's feet are pretty tiny so it's hard to find the right shoe for her. We have newborn shoes which are a tad too small for her now and 3 month shoes which are too big. So, we headed off to the mall to get a pair that would stay on her feet. Here she is back at home adoring her new shoes. She loves them!
