Our trip home for Christmas

It might have been a long trip with bad weather but at least it made for beautiful scenery! Here are some shots of our trip taken from inside our car while driving.

Our Family Christmas - before our trip

It was a crazy evening of opening presents and eating cupcakes for Jesus' birthday!! The kids had a lot of fun and I'm pretty sure the adults did too. :) Here are some pictures of our crazy Christmas evening before our trip back home.

Decorating the tree - baby proof style. :) We also got the family stockings hung on our staircase. We're so excited for Christmas - celebrating the birth of Baby Jesus and spending time with family.

Christmas Party

Hooray! I was able to attend Ben's work Christmas party this year! It was a lot of fun. Lais watched the kids so we could enjoy our date night. Here is a picture of us right before leaving.

They might be messy but they are getting better and better at using their spoons. Don't mind Isla - she was having a bad hair day. :)

Thanksgiving - So much to be thankful for

Thanksgiving is here! There might have only been three adults and three kids but I made sure everyone got the traditional Thanksgiving dinner. We had a 14 lb turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, french bread, stuffing, gravy and two pies - boysenberry and pumpkin! The food was great and we took time to celebrate many of the things we are thankful for: healthy children, wonderful families, an amazing au pair, great house, good health and our Lord and Savior! We are so blessed!

Lais' First American Birthday

Lais had a great American birthday this year. She got to pick her desserts which ended up being a cheesecake and carrot cake. We took her to a Brazilian restaurant in ABQ for lunch and Harry Potter's new movie that evening. It was a great day to celebrate our awesome au pair, Lais! Happy Birthday!

Mommy's 31st Birthday

My birthday was a wonderful day filled with many adventures. We had a family photo shoot downtown on the Plaza, went trick or treating in the mall with the kids and went to a Halloween party that night. My Mom was also in town so my special day was even more special.

Weekend at the Ranch

We left on Friday afternoon to visit my brother in Des Moines, New Mexico and then headed to my Aunt and Uncle's ranch on Saturday for some more fun! Here are some pictures of our very adventurous and fun-filled weekend!!

Our Three Little Pumpkins

Our family went on it's first pumpkin patch adventure and we all had a great time. We got to visit the petting zoo and walk through the corn maze. Here are some pictures of our fabulous day with our good friend, the Vrableys!
